                                        ADRIATIC CLASSIC 2009

                                                      4 to 10 october

 

PROGRAMME :  

In 2009, we will be heading for the Adriatic sea, the Southeastern Alps and the steppe alongside the Hungarian border. We will cross this country from West to East and from North to South.
We are thus announcing our new « regularity rally » : the « ADRIATIC CLASSIC 2009 », that will take place from Sunday 4 Octobre to Saturday 10 October.
 
 
 
                      LJUBLJANA, the capital city, will welcome us for the departure.
 
Robert Rorife and myself have divised a very attractive route : Up North, we will take the roads that wind their way through the Julian Alps, a range of high rocky mountains, with stopovers in KRANJSKA GORA and BLED ski resorts.
 
In the Center, we will cross the the region of caverns, gorges and karstic caves to link up with the seaside and the mediterranean towns of IZOLA and PORTOROZ surrounded with vineyards and fields of olive trees.
 
In the East, we will discover the hills covered with lush forests of conifers to catch up with other ski resorts of Pohorje mountains, the university town of MARIBOR and further to the far East near the Hungarian border… a route using only tulip arrow to make it accessible for everyone.
We will only accept 60 teams since, as this was the case last year, this number will enable us to create a nice atmosphere and to live a sporty but, most of all, also very friendly « regularity rally ».
After a three year period of unchanged prices, and given the multiple rises in prices in many sectors, we have decided to raise the participation costs in order to be able to once more guarantee the best possible organisation. On the other side, car transport is less expensive and that makes the total similar to last year.
